Trinity Sunday

Today is Trinity Sunday, for churches using the Gregorian calendar. Our church in Miyazaki is one of three in Kyushu Diocese that bear the name ‘Holy Trinity Church’; the others are in Kumamoto and Nagasaki.
I’m afraid i’ve been neglecting this blog for some time, having failed to post anything for Ascension Day just over two weeks ago, or Pentecost last Sunday. I’ll try to post more frequently.

Update 27th May:
Anglicans Online has a good entry about Trinity Sunday this week. I’ll copy a small part of it here:

If, after a day of Trinity Sunday worship we find ourselves thinking we understand God more precisely, we have missed the point of it all entirely and are in fact the poorer. The Mystery of the Holy Trinity is a mystery of Love among Persons.
